The South Campus Center is located behind the Health Sciences building and the S-1 (South Campus) Parking Garage at 1601 NE Columbia Road, Seattle, WA 98195. View SCC on the UW campus map.
Directions: Head south on 15th Ave NE towards the Portage Bay until you arrive at Gate 6. Continue through Gate 6 and the South Campus Center will be on your right.
South Campus Center (SCC) Building Hours & Access
- Secured 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- UW Husky Cards automatically provide 24/7 access to South Campus Center second floor (lower parking garage level) doors.
General Room Information
All rooms (excluding the SCC lobby, Portage Bay area, and SCC 316D Kitchenette) have installed LCD projectors, projection screens. Please refer to the room matrix for additional information.
Furniture
The furniture in all SCC spaces can be rearranged to better suit your event’s needs. However, you must return the tables and chairs to their original configuration, which are outlined in the room layout diagrams found in each space. Failure to do so may result in room reset fees. Classroom Services staff is available to provide specific furniture setup and take down when it is requested at least two weeks prior to the event date, for a fee.

SCC Special Event Spaces
Special event spaces at South Campus Center include the Crow’s Nest (SCC 354), Portage Bay area, SCC third floor lobby, SCC 316, SCC 316D Kitchenette (connected to SCC 316), and the Terrace on the second floor. These spaces are ideal for receptions, product shows, poster sessions, and celebrations. For more information, please refer to the room matrix.
