1996 Magnuson Scholars Celebration In a longstanding tradition of healthcare promotion, Senator Warren G. Magnuson left a great legacy to the University of Washington. He was instrumental in establishing funds for the Warren G. Magnuson Institute for Biomedical Research and Health Professions Training at the University of Washington.
